The Daihatsu brand has always been one of the most reputed Japanese vehicle makes in Sri Lanka. First introduced to the country in 1978 by UNI WALKERS (Pvt) Ltd, who were also the sole distributors for the brand, managed to popularize the vehicles throughout the country with its small size well performing and reliable models. The company has an excellent after sales service and availability of parts for the wide range of vehicles they offer. In 2006, Softlogic Holdings (Pvt) Ltd acquired UNI WALKERS (Pvt) Ltd, which is one of the largest technology giants in Sri Lanka. The company now operates under Softlogic and continues to provide a class leading service to its customers who have purchased Daihatsu vehicles in Sri Lanka.
